Start with the vessel and its route out

Ask the site operator about entry, permitted working space and haul-out restrictions. A bay or facility name does not establish access permission or availability of a particular method.
Confirm preparation and receiving records
Identify fuel, oil, batteries, bilge liquids and unknown containers without opening or draining them. Ask who will assess the contents, manage preparation and confirm the receiver's conditions. Recycling and dismantling options depend on the actual materials and recipient rather than a general environmental claim.
