Describe the boat and where it sits
Tell us whether the vessel is in a driveway, storage yard, marina, on a trailer or in the water. Send its length, type, hull material and photographs. A trailer or cradle may affect the loading plan, but its suitability and condition need assessment.
Share the collection address before planning a pickup. Availability, access and the work needed are confirmed for each location.
Separate land pickup from recovery
An accessible boat on land, a floating vessel and a submerged or damaged hull call for different assessments. Include gate dimensions, overhead clearance, room to maneuver and the condition of the ground along the collection route.
Mention water access, mast and rigging, unusual weight or a damaged trailer before scheduling. Specialized equipment, towing and water recovery must be discussed as part of the particular scope.
Documents and a responsible destination
Gather available ownership documents and identification details. If they are missing, explain the situation before scheduling. For official boating and registration information, consult the Wyoming Game and Fish Department; its guidance does not replace a job-specific ownership review.
Disclose fuel, batteries, oil and loose debris. Acceptance by a disposal or recycling facility needs confirmation. Read about boat disposal and the available options for an unwanted vessel.

The cost guide explains the factors to discuss. Confirm the price and schedule before you make collection arrangements at the site.
